I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

The Macabre Joy Ride – A Prophetic Rant in Verses

Published on: August 23, 2025 By: Al Konda – The Mythical Poet Poem: The Macabre Joy Ride From: The Seer ⸻ ️ A Ride Through the Rotting Heart of Poetry In today’s release, I am not merely writing — I am judging. The Macabre Joy Ride is a literary funeral procession. Not for poetry itself, but for those who have betrayed it. This is not a gentle lament or veiled critique. This is war. This is prophecy. This is wrath. The poem howls through blasphemy, fake prophets, broken feminine archetypes, and self-anointed literary “emperors.” It is the Seer’s voice, soaked in divine grief and mythic fire, calling out a poetry industry that worships trauma and trades truth for performance. There are no sacred cows here — not even poets past and present, male or female, are spared if they have sold their birthright for applause. Yet under the fury, there is mourning: Mourning for melody. Mourning for meaning. Mourning for the soul of poetry, now devoured by plastic empresses, fame-chasing Caligulas, and word-salad priestesses who desecrate the altar of verse. This poem is not nice — because the truth rarely is. It is not confessional — because it confesses nothing. It is the voice of the flame itself, demanding judgment and cleansing. Enter The Macabre Joy Ride — if you dare. ⸻ Read the full poem: https://alkonda.com/2025/08/23/the-macabre-joy-ride/ Listen to the song version: https://youtu.be/Ky98u6EosHs Learn more about The Seer epic: [alkonda.com/the-seer] ⸻
