The Poet’s Burden – A Flame Beyond Time
Before the mountains rose, before sea or sky, Chronos exhaled—and from his breath, Sophia was born. She was not merely word or song, but flame itself: the eternal spark that gives birth to the Arts, and the burden every poet carries.
In The Poet’s Burden, I explore this union of flame and vision—Sophia as the first fire, and the Seer as the one chosen to keep faith with her light. To write is not escape; it is defiance. To rhyme is not a cage; it is covenant. The poet’s true burden is not despair but love, not silence but song, not fame but faithfulness to the eternal flame.
Sophia whispers, and I write. That is the pact. That is the weight and the gift.
