The Real Poetical Life Story

BLOGGER

I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

️ Hollow Sacrament — A Poem of Love, Loss, and the Vanishing Self

️ Hollow Sacrament — A Poem of Love, Loss, and the Vanishing Self

Some sacrifices are not heroic — they are invisible, unspoken, and slow. We give ourselves in pieces, one kindness at a time, until what remains is a shell — holy in gesture, but hollow in truth.

Hollow Sacrament is the story of such a sacrifice.

Of a soul that dissolved in the name of love,

of a spirit that sang lullabies to its own undoing.

It is not a poem of bitterness — but of reckoning.

Not of blame — but of clarity.

And perhaps, a whisper of release.

Here is a glimpse:

I shaped a self, but found no flesh, no bone,
Only in fragments — fractured, falsely free.

This is the price of being everything for someone —

while forgetting to remain anything for yourself.
