The Real Poetical Life Story

I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

Woven Threads: A Poem About Being More Than Just Me
Have you ever felt like you’re just… going? Like days bleed into one another, and you're caught in a current that doesn’t quite feel like you are steering it? I definitely have. Lately, I’ve been wrestling with this feeling of being adrift, searching for something to anchor me. That’s when I started writing “The Weaver’s Paradox,” and honestly, it shifted something inside me, it moved me like . I wasn't trying to write a profound statement; it just sort of poured out of me – the image of a weaver meticulously crafting something beautiful from seemingly random threads. Through this poem I try to explore this idea: that we’re all connected in ways we don’t always realize or perceive, and maybe our individual stories are just threads within a much larger design. Something like fate, or destiny, a path written before us, before we ever been, by someone else, the universe, or maybe God, or something else entierly. The line “We spin our days from borrowed breath” really hit me hard. It felt like acknowledging that everything we do is built on what came before – the choices of those who came before us, the very air we breathe. Are we all sitting on the shoulders of those who came before us? And then there’s this whole concept of the loom and weaver being "both and one." It's a strange image, but I tried to suggest that maybe our actions aren’t entirely our own; they contribute to something bigger, something that continues beyond our individual lives. Are we owning our lives to the ones that come after us, do we have to be our best for them? As the poem says, “silk connects us, breach to breach,” and I think that’s a powerful reminder of the invisible bonds we share with everyone – even those we don't know. It’s unsettling, maybe, but also strangely comforting. It makes you realize how much is built on relationships, on shared experiences, on simply being present in the world alongside others. It’s a web, we are all threads, depending on each other. Each breath, each life matters the same. Ultimately, “The Weaver’s Paradox” isn’t about finding answers; it’s about acknowledging the mystery of existence. It's a reminder that even when we feel lost or isolated, we’re part of something vast and beautiful – a tapestry woven with countless threads. What do you think? Do you feel this connection too? Do you have a story about a moment where you realized how deeply intertwined we all are? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
