The Real Poetical Life Story

BLOGGER

I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

Quiet

Quiet

“Time tastes like prayer in moments like these, / like standing still inside a song.”

There is a silence deeper than sleep — the silence of trust. *Quiet* is a poem that lives in that sacred hush. It is not about passion, but about presence. Not about longing, but about being allowed to witness love when it no longer needs to prove itself. Here, the speaker does not ask for anything. The beloved is asleep — vulnerable, unguarded, real. And in that stillness, something greater than words is spoken. A truth that can only be heard in the absence of noise. This poem honors that kind of love. The kind that kneels beside a resting soul and says: *I do not need anything more than this moment. Your breath, your peace, your trust — they are enough.* *Quiet* is not a lullaby. It is not even a prayer. It is what comes after both — when silence becomes sacred, and love becomes still.
