The Real Poetical Life Story

BLOGGER

I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

The Star That Stood Beside My Breath

The Star That Stood Beside My Breath — A Gentle Winter Wonder

Some winter mornings feel like a conversation you didn’t realize you were having.

Today’s poem is about one such moment:

a quiet path, a child walking through fresh snow,

and a small, wandering star that decides not to shine from afar…

but to walk beside him.

The beauty of this poem is its simplicity.

There’s no miracle in the loud sense.

No magic exploding from the sky.

Just a tiny light choosing proximity over distance.

And the Winter Child — who always notices what the rest of us step over —

recognizes that companionship is sometimes the greatest form of grace.

This poem is for anyone who has ever:

• felt the world whisper instead of shout

• been comforted by something small

• found warmth in a moment too fragile to explain

Some lights guide.

Some lights reveal.

And some lights simply stay close enough to feel.

May you feel such a light today.
