Looming Star
There are moments when you feel something larger than yourself — not as threat, not as spectacle — but as presence.
Looming Star explores that presence.
It imagines a beginning before light had a name. A dark that could be woven. A voice that did not conquer silence, but made it meaningful.
The poem suggests that creation may not be born from force. It may be born from tenderness disciplined into law.
What makes this piece different from typical cosmic imagery is its ending. The star does not remain distant. It bends. It lowers itself above the fire.
The vast becomes near.
And in that nearness, every life becomes a syllable — not lost, not accidental, but spoken.
This is not fantasy. It is reflection.
It asks whether the structure of existence might be more intentional than we dare to admit.
And whether our own lives participate in that intention.
