Silence of the Iron Sky
This is not a quiet poem.
It is a quieting one.
Silence of the Iron Sky tells the story of a burning justified as necessity. A woman named Sophia was given to flame under the promise that her death would balance the world.
The Seer does not accept that promise.
He does not rage publicly. He does not plead.
He remembers.
The poem is full of iron and fire — not to glorify destruction, but to show how grief hardens into resolve.
The sky in this poem is not soft. It is metallic. It reflects what was done.
And the final claim is simple:
“I keep her wound.”
Sometimes the most powerful act is not revenge.
It is refusal to forget.
