I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

Quiet Reckoning

Quiet Reckoning

Some people do not change the world loudly.

They do it before dawn.

They do it in kitchens, in hospitals, in narrow rooms with tired light. They do it without crowns, without speeches, without applause.

This poem was written for that kind of strength.

The kind that moves like water under stone.

The kind that holds.

Reckoning does not always mean collapse. Sometimes it means recognition — the moment we realize what has been carrying us all along.

If you know someone like this, you already understand the poem.
