The Real Poetical Life Story

BLOGGER

I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

Silence of the Star-Weaver

Silence of the Star-Weaver

There are people who enter a room and change it by speaking.

And there are those who change it by being.

This poem belongs to the second kind.

Sofia does not conquer darkness. She does not scatter it with spectacle. She walks the seam between day and night as though it were always meant to hold her weight. And in that measured presence, something unsettled begins to quiet.

Her power is not loud. It is exact.

Where noise has thickened into fear, her stillness thins it. Where pride has hardened into stone, something in her gaze softens it. She does not demand belief. She does not argue for light. She simply stands where it can be remembered.

The poem moves like that: not rushing toward revelation, not forcing transcendence. It breathes. It allows space. It trusts the reader to feel the shift.

There is a tenderness here that does not weaken strength — it defines it.

Not queen by crown, but by inward sign.

This line anchors the spirit of the piece. Authority, in this world, does not belong to those who dominate, but to those who listen deeply enough to carry what trembles.

If there is consolation in the poem, it is not sentimental. It is earned. The kind of consolation that comes when something within you recognizes itself.

When silence settles and does not threaten.

When light steadies instead of blinds.

When the heart remembers that it was always meant to hold both shadow and flame.
