I have little to say of poetry, save this:

The poet is bound by his verse, with only the divine reigning supreme above him!

The Breaking of the Word

The Breaking of the Word

When you try to say something—and it doesn’t come out the way it should

There’s a moment that happens sometimes when you try to say something important. You feel it clearly. You know it’s there. And when you try to put it into words… it doesn’t come out right. The sentence breaks. The meaning slips. What you say doesn’t match what you felt. It can be frustrating. Sometimes even a little painful. Because you know there was something real there—but it didn’t hold once you tried to speak it. But that moment isn’t empty. Even if the words didn’t land, something still happened. You crossed a line. You tried to bring something from inside you into the world. And even if it didn’t arrive fully, it changed the way you feel it. After that, you can’t go back to before. You might try again later. You might find better words. Or you might just understand it more clearly over time. But that first attempt still matters. Because it’s the moment when something begins to take shape—even if it’s not ready yet.
