The First Knowing
When you stop needing to check
There’s a moment when something finally settles.
Not because you figured it out.
Not because someone explained it to you.
It just… stops being uncertain.
You don’t go back to it.
You don’t question it again.
You don’t even think about it that much.
It’s just there. And you know it’s there.
In a quiet way, that’s enough.
Because once something feels like that— you don’t need to prove it anymore.
You just let it stay.
