The Sharpened Pause
When something almost happens
Sometimes, something is about to be said—
but isn’t.
You feel it.
A movement.
A shift.
And then it stops.
Nothing breaks.
Nothing changes completely.
But the moment isn’t the same anymore.
Something stays there—
just before becoming.
